Marapharm Ventures Inc. (OTCMKTS:MRPHF) is strategically positioning itself to take advantage of rapid expansion opportunities with the purchase of new Automated Cannabis vending Machines. Having already placed a purchase order, the company is planning to use the new ACM system to enhance the availability of its cannabis products as well as enable point of sale transactions.
New ACM Machines
The new ACM machines will also be used for inventory management while providing secure product storage. Marapharm expects the same to lead to lower labor costs given that it will not have to hire people to carry out sales. The company has already paid for two pilot ACMs with delivery expected early next year.
“Our machines are a state of the art way for dispensaries to reduce staffing requirements and fulfill orders in a compliant and expeditious manner. ACMs may prove to be lucrative for the company as an additional source of revenue”, says Linda Sampson, CEO, and director of Marapharm.
Washington and Nevada are the two states that the company is targeting with the latest ACM machines. The machines will stock and only sell the companies cannabis products while located within retail outlets and dispensaries in the two states. However, the company is also planning to lease some of the machines to other growers.
Demand for Medical Marijuana
Marapharm is moving with speed to take advantage of the recent marijuana legalization drive that has opened up new opportunities for growth. Demand for medical marijuana products is on the rise presenting unique opportunities that the company wants to take advantage of. The company is relying on its 300,000 square feet of medical marijuana licenses land and facilities in Washington and Nevada to accrue market share in the business.
California is another state that the company is closely eyeing as it looks to expand its wings into more states that allow the use of the federally prohibited plant. Marapharm Ventures Inc. (OTCMKTS:MRPHF) has already acquired an industrial facility in the state that it plans to use for manufacturing, cultivation, and sales.
