Maricann Group Inc (OTCMKTS:MRRCF) has successfully completed its first shipment of dry cannabis flowers to Germany. The company made the shipment from its certified production facility in Langton, ON Canada. After importation in Germany, the product was further processed to meet all the requirements and specification.

Expanding into the Germany market

The company has announced that it will capitalize of the success of its first shipment to expand into the Germany market. Being one of the companies that have EU-GMP certified cannabis production facilities around the world, the company is in a better position to tap into the medical market in Europe. Apart from helping expand its market share, the move into Germany validates the company’s platform.

Launch of MariPlant

In a move that further seeks to expand its market penetration, the company has launched MariPlant, its European nutraceutical line of business. The new product will be available in Germany and will be sold on the company’s online platform called www.mariplant.de. The platform will become operational on August 20. From Germany, the company is working on expanding to other territories within the European Union.

One of the products that will be launched in the European market is a soft gel formulation made with 25mg of CBD. This gel has been made using the multi-patented VESIsorb® delivery system, which ensures maximum bioavailability and absorption.

In a comment on the new launched product, Maricann Group CEO Ben Ward said that the company is launching a very superior product in the market. He noted that the launch is a move towards strengthening its global leadership position as well as increase its sphere of influence. According to Ben, the new launched product is one among that has been produced using VESIsorb. The new product launch is a also a representation of the many first-to-market breakthroughs in Germany’s cannabis industry.

Last year, Maricann formed a commercialization agreement through which it acquired all the supply rights to VESIsorb®, for cannabis human use in Germany, Canada and many other countries. Several trails done on VESIsorb® have proved that it has bioavailability and absorption advantages.
